Adult Sunday School

Our Adult Sunday School rotates both teachers and the studies we do together.  We are often studying a book of the Bible or going through a topical study together.  Below you can find what a class will be about, who will be teaching, and how long the class will run.  There is no expectation that you must be at every class nor that you start right a the beginning.  Jump into Sunday school any time throughout the year and get studying!

We meet from 9:15-10:00am Sunday mornings in Room 1 and the Sanctuary

ADULT 1 (Biblical Souls) (Meets in the Sanctuary):

As a member of this class, you will delve deep into the letter that the Apostle Paul wrote to the Roman church. We are excited to announce that Bill Wright, a teacher with 30+ years teaching experience, will lead this Bible Study class. Come, study, and grow in your understanding of the Cross of Christ, where God judges sin and manifests his saving mercy...all at the same time!

ADULT 2 (Fortified Families) (Meets in classroom #1):

As members of this classes you will experience topical studies in a small group setting on a variety of subjects pertaining to families. We know families are busy, so feel free to join these classes as you are able, no prep required.

  • Marriage (8 WEEKS)—Class leaders, Mitch and Heidi Vedders, have a passion to help couples strengthen their relationship with each other and with Christ. Come and build up the foundation of your home which is your marriage.

  • So the Next Generation Will Know (8 WEEKS)—Class leaders TBD. Our increasingly secular culture is powerful and is seeking to shape the ideas of youth. This class will explore and wrestle with how to share biblical truth to Generation Z in a way that draws them in rather than pushes them away.

  • Effective Parenting in a Defective World (7 WEEKS)—Class leaders TBD. We welcome you to laugh, cry, and engage with new and veteran parents as we share the joys and struggles of raising children in a sin-filled and broken world.

  • Biblical Men and Women (10 WEEKS)—Watch for more details about this class in February.

Café Alliance

All are welcome in the fellowship hall from 10:00-10:30am for coffee and light refreshments each Sunday morning. Coffee, tea, juice, and water are served in the Fellowship Hall along with tasty baked goods, yogurt, and seasonal fruit. We have some gluten free options as well.

10:30am Worship Service

10:30 am in the sanctuary. The services are normally about 65 minutes, and involve singing, prayer, and teaching from the Bible.

  • Seeking to honor God - with sincere gratitude and share with one another the joy of our salvation through song, prayer, and readings - we aim to be a grace-filled community that emphasizes the congregational voice in worship.

  • Messages are Jesus and Scripture centered. Kids pre-K through 2nd grade are dismissed right before the message starts for Gospel-centered teaching just for them. Children are always welcome to stay throughout the message.

  • Depending on the morning there may also be real-life stories, special choirs, or communion as part of our worship time.
